Sin. Terrible, terrible sin..

I commited a great sin today, I insulted Nev! I used the Lord's name in vain and he was very discontented with me, I have to say.

He is a very proper Gentleman, that Nev, I remember in Year 12 I was in the Maths corridoor talking about sex and Nev told me that it was not the place for such sordid talk. I promptly shut-up, or thou shall not outstep Nev's Commands.

The Trig Song

well, i think this is right...

sing to the tune of the 12 days of Christmas. the last 6 verses of it, anyway

6 compound angle
5 double angle
4 minor trig
3 pythag
2 half angle
...and tan is sin over cos

must be sung with great enthusiasm and a lot of arm waving for the full effect.

i would like to say that this song is the reason i know all my major trig identities. unfortunately, i've forgotten them all again since the last set of exams. ah well, such is life.

the ultimate scale of coolness

it has been suggested that there should be a nev scale of coolness. the scale runs from zero - not cool at all - to 10, i.e. nev. we need YOU!!! yes, you, to rate people on the scale. i'd like to put doug slesser forward as being almost (but not quite) as cool as nev. maybe a 9. what's u think?

i reckon this is closer to the real thing. although it doesn't have the marks and spencer seal of authenticity. but fear not, all fans of the jumper, the search will go on...

The Red Jumper

Naturally, as this is an underground Appreciation Blog it is difficult to asses exactly where Nev's famous Red Jumper originates from and even harder to discover an imitation that comes any where near the true Nev Red Jumper.
